Description

The project is being developed by EDF Renewables Canada. The project is co-owned by Blood Tribe Community and EDF Renewables Canada, with their respective ownership stake of 50% each.

Development status

The project construction is expected to commence from 2022. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2023.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project will be sold to Alberta Electricity System Operator under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years.

Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy will be the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The project consists of 48 turbines.
