Description

Avista, NorthWestern Energy Group, PacifiCorp, Portland General Electric, Puget Sound Energy and Talen Energy are currently owning the project.

It is a Steam Turbine power plant that is used for Baseload. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is subbituminous. In case of shortage of subbituminous the plant can also run on Distillate Fuel Oil. The fuel is procured from Montana Coal Mine, Westmoreland Rosebud Mining LLC.

The project generated 10,820,444MWh and emitted 4,416,576t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.
