Description

The project was developed by Enel and is currently owned by Enel Americas with a stake of 100%.

Chucas is a reservoir based project. The hydro reservoir capacity is 14.7 million cubic meter. The net head of the project is 48.7m. The penstock length is 6.5m. The project generated 219 GWh of electricity.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Instituto Costarricense de Electricidad under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years.
