Description
Alpiq Holding, Axpo Power, Elektrizitatswerk der Stadt Zurich, BKW Energie, IWB Renewable Power and Energie Wasser Bern are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 17%, 17%, 17%, 12%, 12% and 5% respectively.
The hydro reservoir capacity is 107 million cubic meter. Blenio underwent through rehabilitation & modernization during 2010-2011. The project generated 612 GWh of electricity.
