Description

The project was developed by BlaikenVind and is currently owned by Skelleftea Kraft with a stake of 100%.

The project generates 714GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 200,000 households, offsetting 690,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

The Blaiken (Blaiken I), has 100m high towers.

The Blaiken (Blaiken II), has 100m high towers.

The Blaiken (Blaiken III), has 90m high towers.

The Blaiken (Blaiken IV), has 90m high towers.

The project is currently active. The project got commissioned in February 2013.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Fortum under a power purchase agreement, starting from 2013.

Contractors involved

Blaiken (Blaiken I) is equipped with Nordex N100 (2.5 MW) turbines. The phase consists of 30 turbines with 2.5MW nameplate capacity.

Blaiken (Blaiken II) is equipped with Nordex N100 (2.5 MW) turbines. The phase consists of 30 turbines with 2.5MW nameplate capacity.

Blaiken (Blaiken III) is equipped with Dongfang Electric turbines. The phase consists of 30 turbines, each with 2.5MW nameplate capacity.

Blaiken (Blaiken IV) is equipped with Dongfang Electric turbines. The phase consists of 9 turbines, each with 2.5MW nameplate capacity.

Dongfang Electric is the O&M contractor for the Blaiken (Blaiken IV), commencing from the year 2013.
