Description

The project was developed by IPM Beer Tuvia Power Plant. Global Power, Israel Power Management 3000, Leumi Partners and The Noy Infrastructure Fund are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 26%, 16%, 9% and 9% respectively.

It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant. The fuel is procured from Leviathan Partners, Karish and Tanin fields.

Development status

The project got commissioned in February 2021.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to The Israel Electric under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years. The contracted capacity is 382.5MW.

Siemens and Siemens Israel were selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the dual-fuel fired power project.
