Description
The project was developed by Bayonne Energy Center and Pure Energy Resources. The project is currently owned by TigerGenCo with a stake of 100%.
It is a Gas Turbine power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant can also run on Distillate Fuel Oil / Ultra-low sulfur fuel oil. The fuel is procured from Transcontinental Gas Pipe Line Company, LLC (Transco).

DCO Energy was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the Bayonne Energy Center (Bayonne Energy Center Phase II).
Bayonne Energy Center (Bayonne Energy Center Phase I) is equipped with Siemens Energy Trent 60 gas turbines. The phase consists of 8 gas turbines with 64MW nameplate capacity.
Bayonne Energy Center (Bayonne Energy Center Phase II) is equipped with Siemens Energy Trent 60 gas turbines. The phase consists of 2 gas turbines with 66MW nameplate capacity.
Siemens Energy supplied electric generator for the Bayonne Energy Center (Bayonne Energy Center Phase I).
Siemens Energy supplied SGen-100A electric generator for the Bayonne Energy Center (Bayonne Energy Center Phase II).
Ethosenergy (GBR) is the O&M contractor for thermal power project. The operation and maintenance contract commenced from 2011, for a period of 7 years.
