Description
The project is being developed and currently owned by Electricite de France, Nebras Power QPSC, Siemens Energy and Stone City Energy. The company's ownership stake in the project stands as 35%, 25%, 20% and 20% respectively.
It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant that will be used for Baseload.
Development status
The project construction is expected to commence from 2022. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2026.
Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the project will be sold to JSC National Electric Networks of Uzbekistan under a power purchase agreement for a period of 25 years.
