Description

The project is being developed by Oji Green Energy Tokushima. OJI Green Resources and Enex Electric Power are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 80% and 20% respectively.

The project is expected to generate 520GWh electricity and supply enough clean energy to power 170,000 households.

The process of combustion will be adopted in this project to release the stored energy from the feed. Wood chips which is a kind of wood by-product will be used as a feedstock to power the project.

Contractors involved

Sumitomo Heavy Industries is likely to be the supplier of the steam boiler for the project.
