Description

The project is being developed by Japan Marine United, JFE Engineering, Marubeni, Toa and Tohoku Electric Power. Others, Japan Marine United, JFE Engineering, Marubeni, Toa and Tohoku Electric Power are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 25%, 12.5%, 12.5%, 12.5%, 12.5% and 12.5% respectively. The turbines will be mounted on floating semi-submersible foundations.

The wind power project consists of 2 turbines, each with 15MW nameplate capacity.

Development status

The project construction is expected to commence from 2025. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2029.
