Description

The project is being developed by Inpex, Shikoku Electric Power, Sojitz, TTCL Power Myanmar and TTCL Public. Italian-Thai Development and Toyo Engineering are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 51% and 49% respectively.

It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant.

The Gas fired project consists of 2 gas turbines, each with 128.5MW nameplate capacity.

The Gas fired project consists of 1 steam turbine with 131MW nameplate capacity.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project will be sold to Myanmar Electric Power Enterprise under a power purchase agreement for a period of 25 years. The offtake capacity is expected to be 365MW.

Contractors involved

TTCL Power Myanmar is expected to perform operations and maintenance for thermal power project.
