The project was developed by Prayatna Developers. The project is co-owned by Adani Green Energy and Total Solar Singapore, with their respective ownership stake of 50% each.

The power generated from the Adani Bhatinda Solar PV Park (Adani Punjab Solar PV Park 2) is sold to Punjab State Power under a power purchase agreement. The power is sold at the rate of $0.084kWh for a period of 25.00 years, starting from 2017.
Contractors involved
The solar PV modules for the project were supplied by Hanwha Solutions and Hitachi.
The project is utilising horizontal single axis trackers supplied by NEXTracker.
