South and Central America power industry tenders in October 2021: Bolivia leads activity
Looking at tenders by country, Bolivia led the activity in October 2021 with ten tenders and a share of 38.5%, down 0.2% over the previous month and flat growth when compared with the last 12 month-average, followed by Trinidad and Tobago with three tenders and a share of 11.5% and Uruguay with two tenders and a share of 7.7% during the month.
Looking at the last 12-month average, Bolivia held the top spot with ten tenders, followed by Uruguay with four and Trinidad and Tobago with two tenders.

Solar is top technology area for tenders in October 2021
Looking at tenders divided by the type of technology, solar accounted for the largest proportion with five tenders and a 50% share, followed by thermal with three tenders and a 30% share and wind with one tender and a 10% share.
Looking at power industry tenders divided by segment in South and Central America as tracked by GlobalData, T&D Equipment was the most popular segment in October 2021, with eight tenders, followed by T&D Project (8) and Power Plant (5).
The proportion of tenders by category tracked by GlobalData in the month was as follows:
