Middle East and Africa power industry tenders in January 2022: South Africa leads activity

Looking at tenders by country, South Africa led the activity in January 2022 with 21 tenders and a share of 87.5%, up 38.1% over the previous month and down 77% when compared with the last 12 month-average, followed by Uganda with two tenders and a share of 8.3% and Tanzania with one tender and a share of 4.2% during the month.

Looking at the last 12-month average, South Africa held the top spot with 92 tenders, followed by Kenya with ten and Jordan with five tenders.
