Looking at global power contracts activity divided by the type of technology, solar held the top position in terms of number of contracts during July 2019 with a 43.2% share.
The proportion of contracts by category in the Solar technology tracked by GlobalData in the month was as follows:
- Project Implementation: 35 contracts and a 44.3% share
- Power Purchase Agreement: 27 contracts and a 34.2% share
- Supply & Erection: 15 contracts and a 19% share
- Electricity Supply: two contracts and a 2.5% share.
Asia-Pacific leads solar contracts activity in July 2019
Comparing contracts activity in solar technology in different regions of the globe, Asia-Pacific held the top position with 28 contracts and a share of 35.4% during July 2019, followed by Europe with 28 contracts and a 35.4% share and North America with 15 contracts and a 19% share.
