Description

The project is currently owned by PT Poso Energy.

Poso II is a run-of-river project. The net head of the project is 150m. The penstock length is 786m. The penstock diameter is 36m. The project generated 1,195.74 GWh of electricity. The project cost is $288.602m.

The hydro power project consists of 3 turbines, each with 65MW nameplate capacity.

The project has 3 electric generators installed at the site. The generator capacity is 72.2 MVA.

Development Status

The project got commissioned in 2012.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to PT PLN (Persero) under a power purchase agreement.
