Description

The project is currently owned by Bhakra Beas Management Board.

The hydro reservoir capacity is 7,051 million cubic meter. The total number of penstocks, pipes or long channels that carry water down from the hydroelectric reservoir to the turbines inside the actual power station, are 6 in number. The penstock diameter is 5.025m. The project generated 1,347.8 GWh of electricity.
