Description

The project is currently owned by TeaM Energy with a stake of 100%.

It is a Steam Turbine power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is bituminous. In case of shortage of bituminous the plant can also run on Light Fuel Oil.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Manila Electric under a power purchase agreement.

Contractors Involved

Mitsubishi Power was selected as the turbine supplier for the Coal fired project. The company provided 2 units of Single Reheating Condensing, Two cylinder double flow exhaust steam turbines, each with 367.5MW nameplate capacity.

Siemens Energy supplied Horizontally mounted cylindrical rotor, rotating field type electric generator for the project.

Mitsubishi Power supplied steam boiler for the project.
