Offshore Zone of Potential 17 is a 760MW offshore wind power project. It is planned in Taiwan Strait, Changhua County, Taiwan. The project is currently in permitting stage. It will be developed in single phase. Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in 2030.

Description

The project is being developed by EnBW Energie Baden-Wurttemberg, JERA and Swancor Renewable Energy. JERA, Green Investment Group and EnBW Energie Baden-Wurttemberg are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 43.75%, 31.25% and 25% respectively.

The project cost is expected to be around $4,042.44m. The project will be spread over an area of 122.5km².

Development Status

Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in 2030.
