The proportion of solar technology contracts by category tracked by GlobalData in the month was as follows:
- Power Purchase Agreement with 13 contracts and a 50% share
- Project Implementation: nine contracts and a 34.6% share
- Electricity Supply: two contracts and a 7.7% share
- Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: one contract and a 3.8% share
- Supply & Erection: one contract and a 3.8% share.
The US tops North America solar power contracts activity
The US was the top country in the North America region for solar technology contracts recorded in July 2020 with 23 contracts and an 88.5% share, followed by Canada with three contracts and an 11.5% share.
