Power Plant stood at first place when compared with other power tender categories in the North America region in March 2020 with 34 contracts and a 42.5% share, followed by Generation Equipment with 15 contracts and an 18.8% share and T&D Equipment with 14 contracts and a 17.5% share during the month.
The proportion of contracts by category tracked by GlobalData in the month was as follows:
- Project Implementation: 31 contracts and a 91.2% share
- Consulting & Similar Services: two contracts and a 5.9% share
- Power Purchase Agreement: one contract and a 2.9% share.
Solar is top technology for North America power plant contracts in March 2020
