The Noor Midelt Solar Thermal Plant 1 – Thermal Energy Storage System is being developed by Abu Dhabi Future Energy, EDF Renewables and Green Of Africa. The project is owned by Abu Dhabi Future Energy (33.33%), a subsidiary of Mubadala Investment, EDF Renewables (33.33%), a subsidiary of EDF Renewables and Green Of Africa (33.33%).
The key applications of the project are onsite renewable generation shifting, renewables capacity firming and renewables energy time shift.
