Description
The project is developed and owned by NLC India. The company has a stake of 100%.
It is a Steam Turbine power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is lignite. In case of shortage of lignite the plant can also run on Heavy Fuel Oil / Light Diesel Oil. The fuel is procured from NLC Mine 1 & 1A.
The project cost is $950.317m.
