Danish manufacturer and servicer of wind turbines Vestas has received orders for nine V126-3.3MW turbines for the Ylivieska Pajukoski project in Finland from the Reconcept GmbH.
Located in Ylivieska, the project will feature the V126-3.3MW turbines atop a hub height of 137m in order to maximise production even when the wind speed is low.
As per the terms of the contract, Vestas will supply nine of its V126-3.3MW machines and provide service for 12 years.
Vestas will deliver the turbines in the second quarter of 2015.
The commissioning of the turbines is also expected to be in the same quarter.
V126-3.3MW can generate up to 20% more power than the V112-3.0MW on a location with an average wind speed of 6.5m/s.
