Description
The project was developed by European Energy. Allianz Global Investors and European Energy are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 60% and 40% respectively.
NATO Military Airbase Vandel Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 108 hectares.
The project generates 71,700MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 21,500 households, offsetting 30,940t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $130.999m.
