The project was developed by China Southern Power Grid. China Southern Power Grid and Electricite du Laos are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 75% and 25% respectively.
The project generated 721 GWh of electricity. The project cost is $450m.
The hydro power project consists of 3 turbines, each with 56MW nameplate capacity.
