Mymensingh Solar PV Park is a 73MW solar PV power project. It is located in Mymensingh, Bangladesh. The project is currently active. It has been developed in single phase. Post completion of construction, the project got commissioned in April 2021.

Description

The project is developed and owned by HDFC Sinpower.

Mymensingh Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 174 acres.

The project generates 78,000MWh electricity thereby offsetting 54,600t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $90m.

The project consists of 173,000 modules.

Development Status

The project got commissioned in April 2021.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Bangladesh Power Development Board under a power purchase agreement. The power is sold at the rate of $0.17kWh for a period of 20 years. The contracted capacity is 50MW.

Contractors Involved

Ditrolic (S) and Fujian Yongfu Power Engineering were selected to render EPC services for the solar PV power project.

Huawei Technologies supplied 332 of its SUN2000-185KTL inverters to the project site.
