Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Substation is a 400kV substation located in Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The construction works on Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Substation began in 2019. The project was commissioned in 2021.

Description

The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Substation project is a new substation being operated by Dubai Electricity and Water Authority.

The designed voltage level of the project is 400kV, while the operating voltage level is 400kV.The step-in voltage of the substation is 400kV. The substation capacity is 2,020MVA.

Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Substation has received approval from Regulation & Supervision Bureau to undertake the works on the project.
