T&D Equipment stood at first place when compared with other power tender categories in the Middle East and Africa region in March 2021 with 141 tenders and a 63.8% share, followed by T&D Project with 30 tenders and a 13.6% share and Power Plant with 27 tenders and a 12.2% share during the month.
The proportion of tenders by category tracked by GlobalData in the month was as follows:
- Supply & Erection: 138 tenders and a 97.9% share
- Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: three tenders and a 2.1% share.
Solar is top technology for Middle East and Africa T&D equipment tenders in March 2021
Looking at T&D equipment tenders by the type of technology in the Middle East and Africa region, solar accounted for two tenders with a 66.7% share, followed by hydro with one tender and a 33.3% share.
