The Kingline Ondo IPP Power Plant Phase I is 550MW gas fired power project. It is planned in Ondo, Nigeria. The project is currently in permitting stage. It will be developed in single phase. Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in December 2022.

The project is being developed by Kingline Ondo IPP and Themis Energy. Denham Capital Management, Kingline Ondo IPP and Themis Energy are currently owning the project.
It is a gas turbine power plant. The fuel will be procured from Ondo onshore/offshore basin.
The project cost is expected to be around $600m.

Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project will be sold to Nigerian Bulk Electricity Trading under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years. The offtake capacity is expected to be 550MW.
Contractors Involved
Hyundai Engineering and POSCO Engineering & Construction are expected to render EPC services for the gas fired power project.
GE Power will be the turbine supplier for the Gas fired project.
Korea Southern Power is expected to perform operations and maintenance for thermal power project.
