Khrami is a reservoir based project. The hydro reservoir capacity is 312 million cubic meter. Khrami (Khrami Phase II) underwent through rehabilitation & modernization during 1996-2008.

Sakhydro Energomsheni was selected to render EPC services for the hydro power project.
Khrami (Khrami Phase I) is equipped with ABB pelton turbines. The phase consists of 3 turbines with 37.6MW nameplate capacity.
Khrami (Khrami Phase II) is equipped with Leningradsky Metallichesky Zavod francis turbines. The phase consists of 2 turbines with 56.5MW nameplate capacity.
ASEA Power Systems and Electrosila have supplied 3 and 2 generators, respectively.
