The project is developed and owned by Sumitomo Forestry and Sumitomo Joint Electric Power. The company’s ownership stake in the project stands as 51% and 49% respectively.
The project supplies enough clean energy to power 65,000 households. The project cost is $213.568m.
Agricultural by-product and wood by-product are used as a feedstock to power the project.
