Description
The project was developed by Power Construction Corporation of China and is currently owned by Pakistan Power Park Management with a stake of 100%.
It is a combined cycle gas turbine (ccgt) power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is regasified liquefied natural gas. In case of shortage of regasified liquefied natural gas the plant can also run on High Speed Diesel. The fuel is procured from Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited.
The project cost is $813.832m.

Haveli Bahadur Shah Combined Cycle Power Plant (Haveli Bahadur Shah Combined Cycle Power Plant (Steam Turbine)) is equipped with GE Power STF30C steam turbine. The phase consists of 1 steam turbine with 430MW nameplate capacity.
GE Power supplied steam boiler for the project.
SEPCOIII Electric Power Construction is the O&M contractor for thermal power project for a period of 12 years.
