Description

The project was developed by AGL Energy. Energy Infrastructure Trust, Osaka Gas and APA Group are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 39.9%, 39.9% and 20.2% respectively.

The project supplies enough clean energy to power 80,000 households, offsetting 355,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $291.06m.

The project is currently active. The project got commissioned in December 2010.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to AGL Energy under a power purchase agreement.

Contractors Involved

Suzlon Energy Australia was selected to render EPC services for the wind power project.

Suzlon Energy was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 63 units of S88-2.1 MW turbines, each with 2.1MW nameplate capacity.

Suzlon Energy Australia is the O&M contractor for the wind power project. The operation and maintenance contract commenced from 2018, for a period of 5 years.

The wind power project consists of Tubular Steel towers supplied by Keppel PrInce Engineering. These towers are around 80m high.
