The project is currently owned by Saudi Electricity with a stake of 100%.

It is a Gas Turbine power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is crude oil. In case of shortage of crude oil the plant can also run on Diesel.

Power Purchase Agreement

alfanar Construction and Arabian Bemco Contracting were selected to render EPC services for the oil fired power project.

Siemens was selected as the turbine supplier for the Oil fired project. The company supplied SGT6-2000E model gas turbines for the project.
