Description
The project is being developed by Flat Canyon Hydro and is currently owned by Gridflex Energy.
Flat Canyon is a pumped storage project. The hydro reservoir capacity is planned to be 2.22 million cubic meter. The gross head of the project will be 417.57m. The project is expected to generate 1,800 GWh of electricity. The project cost is expected to be around $786.423m.
The hydro power project consists of 2 turbines, each with 150MW nameplate capacity.
The project has 2 electric generators that will be installed at the project site.
