The proportion of solar technology tenders by category tracked by GlobalData in the month was as follows:
- Project Implementation with 15 tenders and a 62.5% share
- Supply & Erection: six tenders and a 25% share
- Power Purchase Agreement: two tenders and an 8.3% share
- Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: one tender and a 4.2% share.
The Czech Republic tops Europe solar power tenders activity
The Czech Republic was the top country in the Europe region for solar technology tenders recorded in August 2021 with three tenders and a 12.5% share, followed by Poland with three tenders and a 12.5% share and the UK with three tenders and a 12.5% share.

Europe solar technology tenders in August 2021: Top companies by capacity
The top issuers of tenders for the month in terms of power capacity involved in Europe were:
- Russian Association of Wind Power Industry (Russia): 6,700MW from one tender
- Ministry for the Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge (Spain): 3,300MW from one tender
- GIZ (Germany): 14.93MW capacity from one tender.
