Power Plant stood at first place when compared with other power tender categories in the Europe region in June 2021 with 75 contracts and a 44.1% share, followed by Generation Equipment with 45 contracts and a 26.5% share and Electricity Procurement with 23 contracts and a 13.5% share during the month.
The proportion of contracts by category tracked by GlobalData in the month was as follows:
- Project Implementation: 56 contracts and a 74.7% share
- Consulting & Similar Services: 16 contracts and a 21.3% share
- Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: three contracts and a 4% share.
Solar is top technology for Europe power plant contracts in June 2021
Looking at power plant contracts by the type of technology in the Europe region, solar accounted for 54 contracts with a 72% share, followed by wind with 16 contracts and a 21.3% share and thermal with two contracts and a 2.7% share.
