The project was developed by eab New Energy, Seg Ingenieria and TerraForm Global. The project is currently owned by Atlas Renewable Energy USA.
El Naranjal Solar PV Farm is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 150 hectares.
The project generates 109.1GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 58,800 households, offsetting 42,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $115m.

Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Administracion Nacional de Usinas y Trasmisiones Electricas under a power purchase agreement for a period of 30 years. The contracted capacity is 50MW.
Contractors Involved
Ingener was selected to render EPC services for the solar PV power project.
Trina Solar was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company installed 184,160 modules at the site.
The inverters were procured from Ingeteam Corporacion for the project.
The project is utilising trackers supplied by NEXTracker.
Ingener is the O&M contractor for the solar PV power project for a period of 10 years.
