Description

The project is currently owned by East Delta Electricity Production.

It is a steam turbine power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant can also run on Heavy Fuel Oil.

The project cost is $2,000m.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Egyptian Electricity Transmission under a power purchase agreement.

Contractors Involved

Bechtel and Techint Compagnia Tecnica Internazionale were selected to render EPC services for the dual-fuel fired power project.

The Dual-Fuel fired project have been supplied by Mitsubishi Power and Sumitomo.

The electric generators for the project were procured from Mitsubishi Power and Sumitomo.

Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction supplied steam boiler for the project.
