Description

Enel Argentina, YPF and Pan American Energy are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 40%, 40% and 20% respectively.

It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant can also run on Diesel.

The project generated 4,974,270MWh of electricity. The project cost is $450m.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Cammesa under a power purchase agreement with a contracted capacity is 797.5MW.

Contractors Involved

GE Power was selected as the turbine supplier for the Gas fired project. The company provided 1 unit of DKYZZ2-IN41 steam turbine with 288.3MW nameplate capacity.

GE Power was selected as the turbine supplier for the Gas fired project. The company provided 2 units of GT26AB gas turbines, each with 254.6MW nameplate capacity.

GE Power supplied 50WT21H-120 electric generator for the project.

The steam boilers for the gas fired power project have been supplied byBabcock & Wilcox Enterprises and John Cockerill Group.

GE Power is the O&M contractor for thermal power project for a period of 12 years.
