PacifiCorp, Platte River Power Authority, Salt River Project Agricultural Improvement And Power District, Tri-State Generation and Transmission Association and Xcel Energy are currently owning the project.

It is a steam turbine power plant that is used for Baseload. The fuel is procured from Trapper and Colowyo Coal Mines.

The project cost is $1,200m.
