Description

The project was developed by Competitive Power Ventures. The project is co-owned by Competitive Power Ventures and Osaka Gas, with their respective ownership stake of 50% each.

It is a combined cycle gas turbine (ccgt) power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant can also run on Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel. The fuel is procured from Spectra TETCO Gas Transmission Line.

The project cost is $1,000m.

Kiewit Power Constructors was selected to render EPC services for the gas fired power project.

GE Power was selected as the turbine supplier for the Gas fired project. The company provided 1 steam turbine with 453MW nameplate capacity.
