The project is developed and owned by Bui Power Authority.

The project generated 969 GWh of electricity. The project cost is $622m.

Contractors Involved

Sinohydro was selected to render EPC services for the hydro power project.

GE Renewable Energy was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 3 units of francis turbines, each with 133MW nameplate capacity.

GE Renewable Energy supplied 3 electric generators for the project. The generator capacity is 148 MVA.
