The project is currently owned by GenOn Holdings with a stake of 100%.
It is a steam turbine power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant can also run on Residual Fuel Oil. The fuel is procured from Columbia Gas Transmission Corp, Orange and Rockland Utilities, Inc..
