Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Egyptian Electricity Transmission under a power purchase agreement. The power is sold at the rate of $0.078kWh for a period of 25 years. The contracted capacity is 50MW.
Contractors Involved
Desert Technologies and Enerray were selected to render EPC services for the solar PV power project.
Wuxi Suntech Power was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company provided 197,760 modules each with 330W of nameplate capacity.
The inverters were procured from FIMER for the project.
The project is utilising single axis trackers supplied by Convert Italia.
Desert Technologies, Enerray and Gila AlTawakol Group were contracted to render operations & maintenance services for the project.
