The proportion of solar technology tenders by category tracked by GlobalData in the quarter was as follows:
- Project Implementation with 171 tenders and a 73.4% share
- Supply & Erection: 29 tenders and a 12.4% share
- Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: 17 tenders and a 7.3% share
- Consulting & Similar Services: 11 tenders and a 4.7% share
- Power Purchase Agreement: four tenders and a 1.7% share
- Electricity Supply: one tender and a 0.4% share.
India tops Asia-Pacific solar power tenders activity
India was the top country in the Asia-Pacific region for solar technology tenders recorded in Q2 2019 with 137 tenders and a 58.8% share, followed by Australia with 32 tenders and a 13.7% share and the Philippines with 27 tenders and an 11.6% share.
