Power Plant stood at first place when compared with other power tender categories in the Asia-Pacific region in Q1 2021 with 157 contracts and a 44.4% share, followed by Generation Equipment with 80 contracts and a 22.6% share and Electricity Procurement with 71 contracts and a 20.1% share during the quarter.
The proportion of contracts by category tracked by GlobalData in the quarter was as follows:
- Supply & Erection: 72 contracts and a 90% share
- Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: five contracts and a 6.3% share
- Project Implementation: three contracts and a 3.8% share.
