Description

The project is currently owned by Amager Ressource Center.

The project supplies enough clean energy to power 60,000 households. The project cost is $670m.

The process of combustion has been adopted in this combined heat and power (CHP) project to release the stored energy from the feed. Industrial waste and municipal solid waste are used as a feedstock to power the project.

The project consists of 1 turbine with 60MW nameplate capacity.

Babcock & Wilcox Volund was selected to render EPC services for the biopower project.

Babcock & Wilcox Volund supplied steam boiler for the project. The boiler installed at the site has a capacity of 141.1TPH. The temperature witnessed inside the boiler is around 440°C. The steam is pressurized inside the boiler at 70bar.
