The project is being developed and currently owned by Ente Vasco de la Energia and Iberdrola. The owners have 50% stake in the project respectively.
Alava Solar PV Park is planned over 55 hectares.
The project is expected to generate 40,000MWh electricity to offset 14,600t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is expected to be around $26.738m.
The solar power project consists of 66,000 modules.
